Sure, downsizing is good for the future of the planet. And hybrid supercars are awesome and clever and LMP1 inspired. But what’s the best small car with a big engine, you can buy from a showroom?
You also can lease a V12 Vantage for $1,900 a month, so that’s that.

At a lower price point I’d say the Z06 and its 6.2l engine.

Dodge Challenger is not small.

C63 AMG sedan. The old one with the M156 6.2L. The thing’s an animal.

I kinda think the Dodge Dart is the biggest engine small car. 2.4 184hp/170+tq in a focus/mazda3 sized car? I know it can be had in a 6-spd manual. Is a nice one.

F-Type R; 15 or so less hp than a V12 Vantage S, BUT a hell of a lot faster in reality: nearly 50 more torques and a MUCH better gearbox (ZF 8 Speed); all at nearly half the cost..

2005/2006 Chevrolet SSR (Super Sport Roadster)
Retro Styling, a 400 HP 6.0 LS2 Corvette Engine with an optional Manual Transmission, and a NICE Burbling Factory Dual Exhaust.
And a VERY cool Retracting Hardtop
And best of all, you can pick one up for a decent price of $20,000 (Used)
